Pnyx

The Pnyx was the meeting place where the ancient Athenians assembled. From the 6th century BC until the end of the 4th century BC It was also known as Ecclesia of Demos. Many great personalities of the antiquity presented speeches from this step. The Pnyx is located west of the Acropolis of Athens and between the hill of the Nymphs and the hill Filopapou.
