We request that you carefully read the following rental terms and conditions, which apply to all Auto Club Athens car rental vehicles. If you agree to the terms and conditions, kindly complete the contact and booking form to request the Athens rent a car you desire.

  1. Minimum Rental Period: 1 day
  2. Driver’s Age: All drivers should be between the ages of 23 and 70.
  3. Driver’s License: All drivers should hold a valid driver’s license for at least one year. An international driver’s license is required for all drivers who do not come from member states of the EU. International Driver’s Licenses are valid in over 150 countries and include information about the holder written in the Latin characters, as well as a photo of the driver.
  4. Fuel: payable by the renter
  5. Traffic Violations & Fines: traffic tickets and administrative sanctions incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter. If they are not taken care of by the end of the rental period, the authorities will request the renter’s details and the fine will be sent by post.
  6. Methods of Payment & Accepted Credit Cards: Renters can pay via credit card (Visa and MasterCard). Other means of payment are not accepted.
  7. Taxes: All Auto Club Athens car rental rates include 23% VAT. The usual 13% airport tax is not charged for delivery or collection of our Athens Airport car rentals.
  8. Delivery & Collection Services: We provide free delivery and collection of your rental car at our office in Maroussi, Athens Airport, Piraeus Port, Rafina Port, and any other location specified by the client, upon request.
  9. Transfer by Boat: renters can transfer their rental car provided that they have written permission from the Auto Club Athens Car Rental Agency. If you want to transfer your rental car by boat, you are required to inform us immediately.
  10. Rentals Outside Greece: renters are not permitted to take Auto Club car rental vehicles outside Greek borders.
  11. All Auto Club Athens car rental rates include: 
    - Unlimited kilometres 
    - Delivery & collection to/from Athens Airport 
    - 24-hr road service throughout Greece 
    - Baby seats 
    - Second driver in contract 
    - 23% VAT
  12. Our insurance coverage is not valid for damage:
    - to the underside of the car and the tires caused by driving on non-paved roads 
    - due to the driver being under the influence of either alcohol or drugs 
    - caused by persons not stated in the rental contract as drivers of the rental car
