Acropolis Hill

Acropolis Hill is the place where the Acropolis of Athens is built. Its distance in height from the sea surface is 156 meters. The Acropolis is primarily known from the Golden Age of Pericles in the 5th century BC, where the culture of Athens reached its peak, although it has been found that Acropolis Hill has been inhabited since the 3rd millennium BC. The Acropolis hill is accessible only by its west side through the fortified entrance which is decorated by the Propylaea.
